YMCA South Midlands Partnership
Beginning August 2026, Xscape Milton Keynes is proud to be working with YMCA South Midlands in a new partnership that aims to help more young people access employment opportunities and build brighter futures.
Through this partnership, Xscape Milton Keynes and YMCA South Midlands are committed to helping young people develop the skills, confidence and connections they need to move toward meaningful, long-term employment.
Landsec, which owns and operates Xscape Milton Keynes, has also pledged to support 30,000 people from underrepresented backgrounds towards long-term employment nationwide through its employment programmes, including work placements and internship, while YMCA South Midlands helps young people explore career paths, training opportunities and apprenticeships that match their goals and ambitions.
By working together, YMCA South Midlands and Xscape Milton Keynes will raise awareness of the support and opportunities available to young people in Milton Keynes, while helping to connect them with potential employers, mentors and other employment networks.
Tap to Donate: helping homeless people
When you’re visiting Xscape, a quick £3 tap of a contactless card or mobile wallet on the Tap to Donate machine located between Slim Chickens and The Moon Under Water, will make a safe and secure donation to support local homelessness prevention services in Milton Keynes.
Where Your Donation Goes
All donations go into a dedicated fund managed by the Milton Keynes Community Foundation on behalf of MyMiltonKeynes BID, supporting trusted local charities that provide emergency help, practical support and long-term routes out of homelessness. Since launching in 2019, the scheme has raised over £29,000 to help people across Milton Keynes.
