The U DO IT Dance Foundation was founded in 2014 with the goal of increasing young people's interest in street dance. Since then, they have evolved to work with schools to address anxiety, mental health problems, confidence issues and knife violence among young people. In their educational activities and workshops, they emphasize dance and young people expressing themselves through dance.
Through this partnership, Xscape and the U DO IT Dance Foundation aims to raise awareness about mental health and knife crime, its effects, and how it impacts young people.

Tap to Donate: helping homeless people
When you’re visiting Xscape, a quick £3 tap of a contactless card or mobile wallet on the Tap to Donate machine located between Slim Chickens and The Moon Under Water, will make a safe and secure donation to support local homelessness prevention services in Milton Keynes.
Where Your Donation Goes
All donations go into a dedicated fund managed by the Milton Keynes Community Foundation on behalf of MyMiltonKeynes BID, supporting trusted local charities that provide emergency help, practical support and long-term routes out of homelessness. Since launching in 2019, the scheme has raised over £29,000 to help people across Milton Keynes.
